The Software Test and Support Manager will provide subject matter expertise in addition to team leadership. Responsible for processes employees execute. Ability to lead multiple missions with employees across the globe and resolving cross-functional issues. Drive Interactions with Sr. Level Executives on critical initiatives for multiple missions across many disciplines.

This position requires extensive people management experience, proven knowledge of software quality practices / processes and program management skills to drive cross-functional team activities with the understanding of requirements and business drivers for the new products and solutions.

The Manager, Software Support and Quality Assurance will be responsible for ensuring seamless software solutions for customers and maintaining quality standards through:

  • Collaboration with the Software Quality Director to establish strategic direction and best practices.
  • Engagement with stakeholders, including Customers, Product Owners, and Program Managers.
  • Development of team members into skilled support and test engineers.
  • Leveraging a background in software support and testing, strong leadership, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • BS in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • Experience running a quality system using Verification and Validation processes.
  • 5+ years in management within software support and quality assurance.
  • 5+ years in data driven management.
  • 8+ years of experience in software test engineering and/or solution support.
  • Knowledge on JIRA, Git, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Test Reil
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work with top customer accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience delivering and supporting business to business or business to customer software. 
  • Knowledge of software development, support, and testing processes. 
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • POS (Point of Sale) industry experience (preferred)
  • Combined hardware device / software testing or support experience (preferred).
