Manager - Warehouse and Procurement

Warehouse Management: • Oversee the entire warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and dispatch. • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize loss. • Develop and optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety. • Monitor and evaluate warehouse staff performance, providing training and guidance as needed. • Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness standards. • Implement and enforce compliance with health, safety, and company regulations. Procurement Management: • Develop procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of products and materials. • Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to maintain a reliable and quality supply chain. • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers. • Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery. • Monitor procurement budgets and track expenses. • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of purchase orders. Logistics and Distribution: • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure the timely delivery of goods. • Optimize distribution networks to minimize costs and improve delivery speed. • Manage the return and disposal of defective or excess inventory. Data Management and Reporting: • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and procurement processes. • Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, procurement performance, and cost analysis. • Provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in warehouse and procurement management. • Professional certification (e.g., CPIM, CPSM, CSCP) is an advantage. • Experience in FMCG sector preferred. • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems). • Knowledge of market trends, supplier management, and cost optimization techniques. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. • Strong leadership and team management skills.
