Medical Billing Representative

• →Review ETech Log for accuracy of patient’s seen.
• →Review Manual Tech Log and ETech Log for accuracy of patient’s seen for those techs who are on a 90 day probation.
• →Consistently and accurately verify designated fields on patient claims. This is achieved by reviewing information provided in the medical record.
• →Responsible for updating patient and insurance information as necessary.
• →Responsible for contacting clients directly to obtain critical missing information as needed.
• →Responsible for contacting insurance companies to obtain Pre-Authorizations as needed.

• →Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of guidelines and relevant federal regulations through the use of current CPT books, and ICD-10 materials, Federal register, and other pertinent materials.
• →Cross train in the 5 billing work queues – MBI Medicare, Missing Payor, Billing, Dr Mobilex & MBI Replacement Plan
• →Attend and participate in department meetings.
• →Required overtime as needed to meet departmental goals.  

• →Perform other tasks as assigned to support the goals of the organization.

Pay Rate : $16-19 per hour
