A Brief Overview Senior Business System Analyst is responsible for designing and delivering business systems requirements, as well as managing system administration for technology solutions supporting the Workers Compensation team with the primary focus being the Workers’ Compensation Risk Management Information System (RMIS).In addition to routine responsibilities managing data quality, this role will design dashboards and reporting tools to enable decision-making for stakeholders. This role will involve collaboration with individuals across multiple functions within the Workers’ Compensation organization. What you will do * Design and maintain data infrastructure in the Company’s Workers Compensation Risk Management Information System (RMIS), Origami. * Design dashboard and reporting tools using Salesforce, Origami (RMIS) and Tableau * Develop and build complex HRProd queries for stakeholder analysis and action. * Responsible for maintaining data quality and managing manual data inputs into the RMIS system. * Assist in configuration, data feeds, and user access for Origami (RMIS), including API integrations and third-party claim feeds (e.g., CCMSI, AIG, Zurich). * Ensure user compliance with SOX team. * Manage data disposition and vendor offboarding processes in accordance with TriNet’s policies. * Elicits and manages business, user (stakeholder), transition and software needs and requirements for the ongoing configuration, support, upgrades, and new development of internal applications. * Acts as the system subject matter expert on the functionality of the Company's RMIS systems. * Identify and document business scenarios for testing to validate the system functions as intended and determine the most appropriate response to defects * Performs other duties as assigned * Complies with all policies and standards Education Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred Experience Qualifications * Typically 5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role in the information technology field or equivalent experience, required. * Typically 5+ years preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap analysis, preferred * Demonstrated experience with Origami or equivalent RMIS system highly desired. Skills and Abilities * Experience with SQL: Design, optimize and manage SQL or related databases including writing complex queries, updating stored procedures and understanding database design principles. * Familiarity with database administration tasks, performance tuning, and ensuring data integrity and security. * Prior experience managing multiple platform integrations. * Ability to articulate and clearly communicate sophisticated problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner. * Track record of achieving results both independently and in a team environment with changing priorities. * Demonstrated ability to understand business objectives and requirements and collaborate on technical solution designs and/or project plans strongly desired. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Works well in a team environment where team members may be distributed. * Hands-on experience with requirements analysis, solution design, and/or project management across diverse applications.
