Waterproofing Estimator

Roles and Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare and/or coordinate complete estimates including analyzing specifications, proposals, takeoffs, and other documentations to prepare estimates.
• 
  Attend construction site and perform a full analysis to determine project difficulty and estimate
• 
  Develop a strategic and competitive plan for each tender as per contract specifications: labor, equipment, and materials
• 
  Maintain subcontractor and supplier relationships through corporate database
• 
  Maintain relations with all vendors, clients, engineers, architects, owners, etc.
• 
  Conduct handover meetings with project managers to execute the work.
• 
  Keep tender documents organized

    Qualifications and Experience

• 
  3+ years direct experience in the construction field, in below grade, Dam proofing, Traffic Coating
• 
  Graduate from engineering, architectural or construction management program is an asset
• 
  Basic computer knowledge – Microsoft Office programs, Procore, AUTOCAD or other programs, basic office administration skills such as printing documents, scanning files, keeping an organized file of projects
• 
  Excellent communication, both verbal and written
• 
  Knowledge of local construction market
