Field Superintendent - Commercial Flooring

Trueline is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Field Superintendent for a nationwide opportunity with a growing organization.

This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who knows commercial flooring, has directly managed hourly installation crews, and is comfortable traveling extensively throughout the U.S.

The typical travel rotation is approximately 6 weeks onsite followed by 1 week off, and candidates can live anywhere in the United States.

Experience with carpet, LVT, VCT, resilient flooring, sheet goods, tile, or specialty flooring is also valuable.

• →Lead commercial flooring installations from start through punch and closeout
• →Direct and manage hourly flooring installers and field crews
• →Plan manpower, assign daily work, and keep crews productive
• →Track labor hours, production rates, schedules, and project efficiency
• →Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades
• →Oversee site readiness, substrates, materials, installation quality, and safety
• →Maintain daily field reports and project documentation
• →Travel nationwide for active projects

• 5+ years of commercial flooring installation or field leadership experience
• Direct experience managing hourly employees/installers
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring installation and sequencing
• Experience managing manpower, labor productivity, and schedules
• Ability to read flooring plans, drawings, and specifications
• Strong field leadership and communication skills
• Comfortable with extensive nationwide travel and a 6-weeks-on / 1-week-off rotation
