Responsibilities

→Active Officers: Must provide Verification of Employment as a Full-Time Peace Officer.
→Retired Officers: Must possess a Firearm Control Card (FCC) or maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) and FOID card, complying with all required laws.
→Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
→Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
→Must meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting 50+ lbs, performing foot patrols, navigating stairs, and working in various weather conditions.
