Heat Trace Technician

IDE Electric is an electrical contractor based in northeastern Pennsylvania. Our primary focus is currently on the oil and gas division.

We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team as a Heat Trace Technician. This role involves wrapping heat trace and insulation on well pads in preparation for the winter season. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for motivated candidates, as there is potential for career growth into electrical work.

• →Instrument tubing and insulate heat trace piping.
• →Troubleshoot glycol system installations.
• →Install 3/8 to 1/2-inch stainless steel tubing.
• →Wrap heat trace and insulation on well pads.

• Experience: No prior experience is required; a willingness to work hard is the top priority.
• Transportation: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required for a daily commute.
• Tools: Candidates must provide their own basic set of hand tools.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be willing to perform all work outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.
