Mechanical Supervisor

UGL has secured a major project at Alcoa's Pinjarra Refinery and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our site team ASAP!

Working on site in Pinjarra, you will be responsible for supervising mechanical trades, leading daily work activities, coordinating labour and equipment, and ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a significant industrial project while working with a highly experienced project team.

• →Supervise mechanical trades, leading hands, labour and subcontractors on site.
• →Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment to achieve project outcomes safely and efficiently.
• →Monitor and ensure compliance with site safety, health and environmental requirements.
• →Lead daily work execution to meet project schedules, productivity and quality objectives.
• →Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• →Ensure all personnel hold the required qualifications, licences and site inductions.
• →Monitor workmanship standards and ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• →Identify and manage risks and hazards associated with work activities.
• →Maintain accurate records, timesheets and project documentation.
• →Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to site personnel

• Mechanical trade qualification.
• Previous experience supervising mechanical works within heavy industry, mining, minerals processing, maintenance, shutdowns or major projects.
• Strong understanding of safety leadership and permit-to-work systems.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary work crews.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
