About the Role UKG is seeking a Lead Revenue Accountant who will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely revenue recognition across UKG’s revenue offerings. This role partners closely with U.S.-based Finance, Accounting, and Systems teams and operates within an automated revenue accounting environment. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting. Key Responsibilities • Apply ASC 606 principles to analyze complex SaaS and services contracts. • Partner with upstream teams to maintain data integrity across Microsoft Dynamics 365, RevPro, and source systems. • Execute weekly and monthly revenue accounting processes and controls, investigating and resolving issues. • Prepare journal entries and perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations. • Assist with month-end flux analysis and reporting using large data sets and tools such as Excel and Power BI. • Collaborate with Technical Accounting and FP&A to resolve revenue-related inquiries. • Identify and implement process improvements. • Support external audits and SOX compliance activities. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred but not required. • 5+ years of corporate revenue accounting experience or 4+ years of public accounting experience with ASC 606 exposure. • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. • Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large data sets. • Experience working with large ERP general ledger systems. • High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset. • Ability to collaborate effectively across global time zones, including U.S. stakeholders.
