Sr Business Data Analyst (Power BI + SQL)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define business requirements for data analysis and reporting Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs)and business metrics. Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements. Develop and maintain documentation for data processes reports and dashboards to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and data interpretation. Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure efficient data flow from various sources. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data solutions and make recommendations for enhancements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence Communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. 5+ years of experience in business data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., BigQuery, SQL Server). Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance best practices. Demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional projects and collaborating with analytics professionals. Solid business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to business audiences. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Familiarity with applying AI techniques for data analysis. Experience working in Agile environments and using project management tools.
