The Digital Impact Division (DID) is at the heart of reshaping how UNICEF delivers lasting results for children. We are committed to harnessing the full potential of emerging digital technologies to advance UNICEF’s mission.  DID works in close collaboration with regional Digital Impact teams and colleagues across headquarters divisions, regions, and country offices to leverage technologies and capabilities that accelerate progress on UNICEF’s goals, strengthen community resilience, and expand access to essential digital services and information.

The Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) champions and coordinates the delivery of field-focused digital transformation in UNICEF programming through a dedicated, field-facing global structure, providing the interface between Regional and Country Offices, and the Digital Core in Valencia to drive the broader digital transformation and innovation agenda. 

TeamOne is DID’s flagship initiative for connecting UNICEF’s global digital expertise and delivering timely, high-quality support to Country Offices. The consultant will coordinate the TeamOne community engagement, strengthening participation, knowledge exchange and collaboration across the global network while supporting agile processes for digital advisory services.

Under the direct supervision of the Digital Impact Manager, the incumbent will carry out the following responsibilities:

  1. Support and Coordinate TeamOne community engagement, communications and recognition

  2. Collaborate with DID Communication team on TeamOne user stories and community content.

  3. Strengthen TeamOne knowledge management, onboarding and analytics
  4. Other DID Duties: Performs other related duties and deliverables as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility, accountability and a results-oriented approach in support of team priorities and UNICEF’s mandate.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree on Information Management, Knowledge Management, Data Analysis, Social Sciences
  • Work Experience:
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience supporting community engagement, communications, knowledge or information management, data analysis, learning initiatives, or digital programme support, preferably in an international development, humanitarian, UN or similar multi-country environment.
  • Language Requirements:
  • Fluency in English is required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce clear, concise and audience-appropriate content for UNICEF internal and external audiences.
  • Knowledge/Expertise/Skills:
  • Demonstrated skills in community management, stakeholder engagement and facilitation; strong writing, editing and content development skills; experience managing knowledge products, SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms and online community spaces; ability to organize information clearly, maintain trackers and dashboards, and support reporting against agreed indicators; sound data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret participation, satisfaction, skills-gap and service-request data and translate findings into practical recommendations; strong coordination, planning and follow-up skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work across teams, regions and time zones.
  • Desirables:
  • Experience working with UNICEF, the UN system or international development organizations; familiarity with digital transformation, innovation, technology for development, digital public goods or programme technology support; experience supporting learning initiatives, peer exchanges, webinars, communities of practice or recognition systems; working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Forms, Excel and Power BI or similar analytics tools; knowledge of another UN language, particularly French, is an asset.
