The consultant will support UNICEF Kosovo’s digital communication and advocacy goals through the development and execution of digital strategies, management of social media platforms, implementation of digital campaigns, audience growth initiatives, content planning, and performance analysis.

Requirements

Albanian and English, Serbian considered an asset

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field. Minimum four years of progressively responsible professional experience in digital communications, with demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, social media growth, campaign management, audience engagement, and performance analytics. Proven track record of designing and optimizing high-impact digital campaigns across multiple platforms using data-driven approaches. Knowledge of digital trends, platform algorithms, and content optimization strategies is required, while additional language skills would be considered an asset.

  • Proven experience managing digital communication strategies for private sector entities, organizations, international institutions, NGOs, or public sector bodies.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media strategy, content planning, audience growth, campaign execution, and performance analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of major digital platforms, paid digital promotion, analytics tools, and data-driven content optimization.
  • Excellent digital storytelling, copywriting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working on advocacy, public awareness, or brand communication campaigns is an asset

 

  • Demonstrated experience managing digital advocacy campaigns focused on children’s rights, education, inclusion, youth participation, or social impact issues
  • Strong understanding of the Kosovo media and digital landscape
  • Experience managing multi-language digital communication environments
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite or equivalent)
  • Basic graphic design and short-form video editing skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent
  • Experience working with influencers, youth advocates, or digital partnerships
  • Familiarity with safeguarding-sensitive communication and ethical storytelling principles
  • Knowledge of emerging digital trends, platform updates, and audience behavior insights
  • Fluency in English required; working knowledge of Albanian and/or Serbian considered an asset
