Main tasks related to the job:
- Assessing Liberia’s macro‑economic situation and fiscal space and drawing conclusions on the funding landscape for the social protection sector.
- Supporting the costing of the new NSPPS to ensure that proposed interventions are financially realistic and sustainable.
- Reviewing the social protection sector budget to identify gaps in relation to the new NSPPS funding needs.
- Developing a financing plan for the NSPPS that is consistent with Liberia’s macro‑economic and fiscal context.
- Conducting a review and analysis of the education budget broadly, with particular focus on the sector allocation for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and presenting the conclusions to key stakeholders together with recommendations on how both the overall education budget and TVET allocations can be improved.
