As Project Manager – Technical Services, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of Unispace projects by providing technical leadership across the project lifecycle. Leveraging your Mechanical or Electrical Engineering expertise, you will ensure technical excellence, design integrity, and seamless coordination between consultants, contractors, design teams, and clients.

You are here to bridge the gap between design and construction, ensuring all building services elements are coordinated, buildable, compliant, and delivered to the highest standards. Your technical insight, project management capability, and stakeholder engagement skills will help drive successful project outcomes while enhancing Unispace's reputation for delivering world-class workplace environments.


• Lead the technical delivery of multiple workplace and commercial fit out projects from design development through construction and handover.

• Review and manage Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, and other building services designs to ensure compliance, quality, and buildability.

• Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of technical services throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and contractor submissions, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

• Manage technical project risks, resolving design conflicts and construction challenges proactively.

• Support project planning, procurement, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure successful project delivery.

• Ensure all technical works comply with local building regulations, statutory requirements, industry standards, and health and safety obligations.

• Work closely with Design, Delivery, Client Relations, and Project Management teams to align technical solutions with client objectives and project budgets.

• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and project presentations, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the project.

• Monitor project progress, technical quality, programme milestones, and contractor performance, ensuring projects remain on track.

• Drive continuous improvement through technical innovation, lessons learned, and implementation of best practice delivery methodologies.

• Support business development and bid activities by providing technical input during project pursuits and client presentations.


• Successful delivery of projects that meet technical, commercial, programme, and quality objectives.

• Effective management and coordination of MEP and technical services across multiple projects.

• Accuracy and quality of technical reviews, risk identification, and issue resolution.

• High levels of client satisfaction and stakeholder confidence throughout project delivery.

• Strong collaboration across design, delivery, consultant, and contractor teams.

• Demonstrated compliance with health and safety requirements and technical standards.

• Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives, technical innovation, and knowledge sharing.

• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining programme and budget commitments.


• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience managing technical services within commercial construction, workplace fit out, or design and build environments.

• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Hydraulic, and Building Services systems.

• Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and construction documentation.

• Knowledge of construction methodologies, procurement processes, commissioning, and project delivery best practice.

• Strong understanding of local building codes, compliance requirements, and health and safety regulations.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence consultants, contractors, clients, and project teams.

• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing technical risks and supporting project financial outcomes.

• Exceptional communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working within fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments.

• Proficiency with project management and construction platforms, including Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk products, or similar tools.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of technical detail and accuracy.

• Relevant professional memberships and industry certifications are advantageous.
