About the Role
~1 min readThe Administrative Officer provides frontline service, in a regional, networked and customer focused team, in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Delivering critical, day-to-day service- related activities for the University. Our Administrative Officers provide a broad range of high-quality administrative support and front-of-house reception to Academic Units across Sciences and Engineering with a strong focus on contributing efficient and responsive processes to support the day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Complete a broad range of administrative duties to assist and support the service delivery needs of Sciences and Engineering Academic Units.
- →Maintain an understanding of current policies and procedures, and provide proactive, accurate, and solutions-focused advice.
- →Deliver responsive and customer focused service, utilising quantitative and qualitative data from approved University systems/surveys/reporting.
- →Support the service requirements of Sciences and Engineering in a consistent manner by contributing to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
- →Provide support to communications and events, including engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- →Demonstrated administrative skills including experience with a range of software applications.
- →Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment and demonstrated capacity to act independently within established guidelines.
- →Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures.
- →Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines.
- →Effective interpersonal, resilience, communication and influencing skills and ability to communicate with a broad range of people.
- →Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $91,488 comprising base salary within the range of $73,814 to $78,195 plus 17% superannuation.
