About the Role

As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be an integral part of our dynamic marketing team, responsible for developing and curating compelling content strategies across various social media platforms. Your role will involve crafting engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience, strengthens brand identity, and contributes to the overall success of our social media campaigns. The role will support the generation of creative ideas for social media content to align with brand messaging which resonate with the target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, film and edit video content as assigned by the Marketing Manager, including attending events and activities where necessary.
  • Share video content leads and take part in broader social media content ideation and planning. 
  • Provide additional editing support for other content created by or for the social media team including organic and paid opportunities. 
  • Create content in other formats as necessary including photography, writing and editing social media captions. 
  • Undertake other duties to support the social media team when required, as directed by the Marketing Manager. ­
  • Proven experience as a social media content creator, with a portfolio showcasing diverse and engaging content.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), video editing software, and social media management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics.

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105,665 comprising base salary within the range of $80,869 to $90,312 plus 17% superannuation.
