Quick Summary
WHY TEAM SIMONDS? The Simonds story all started in 1949 with a passionate family man, Gary Simonds.
The Simonds story all started in 1949 with a passionate family man, Gary Simonds. He envisioned a builder that Australians could rely on to guide them through the process of crafting their perfect home. This vision remains at the heart of Simonds today with our commitment to making the Great Australian Dream a reality by placing home ownership within Australia’s reach.
Becoming part of Team Simonds means becoming part of the family. Our people are the heart of what we do. Our homes are built for the community, by the community, with a local network of employees, trades and supplies all working towards this vision. It is this passion, dedication, and excellence that you will find on every Simonds job site, office, and display centre across the country. Today, we stand proudly as an ASX listed & leading national builder servicing customers across Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
Simonds has helped shape Australia. Few can say that. Whether we’re looking back at the homes of yesteryear, what we’re building now, or everything that’s still to come. We’ve not only shaped what Australia looks like, but more importantly, how Australia homes.
As our House & Land Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in creating competitive, compliant and commercially sound House & Land packages that help drive sales across the Simonds business.
Working closely with our Sales, Operations and Construction teams, you'll identify opportunities, maintain package quality and profitability, and build strong relationships with land agents and developers to maximise our presence in key estates.
This is a highly collaborative role where your commercial acumen, attention to detail and relationship management skills will make a real impact. From maintaining package accuracy and managing fixed site costs through to market analysis and stakeholder engagement, you'll be instrumental in delivering House & Land solutions that meet customer needs while achieving business objectives.
You're a commercially minded professional with experience in the residential building or land development industry. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and thrive on balancing relationships, detail and commercial outcomes.
You'll also bring:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the residential building or land industry.
- Strong knowledge of House & Land packaging, land development and fixed site costs.
- The ability to interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, subdivision plans and related documentation.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with developers, land agents and internal stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business profitability.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
If you're passionate about delivering outstanding House & Land solutions and enjoy building strong partnerships that drive business success, we'd love to hear from you.
