Travel Medical Assistant - Statewide | Temp/Seasonal - Colorado

Bring your MA skills directly to patients at home. We’re hiring a Colorado-based Medical Assistant to complete preventive-care visits while traveling throughout the state.

• Location: Larimer County, CO
• Pay: $35/hour
• Type: W-2 temporary/seasonal, non-exempt
• Project: Expected through January 2027; extension is possible but not guaranteed
• Hours: Variable based on patient volume and coverage needs; no guaranteed weekly minimum
• Travel: Throughout Colorado, with occasional nearby-state travel as needed

• →Complete scheduled in-home member visits
• →Support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities
• →Take vitals, complete screenings, and perform approved point-of-care testing such as A1Cs and UAs
• →Document visits accurately in the EMR/EHR
• →Follow clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures

• Home visits may start in Larimer County, CO
• You will travel throughout Colorado based on business and patient coverage needs
• Occasional nearby-state travel will be required when coverage needs arise
• You should expect extended and overnight assignments when patient locations are too far for same-day travel
• Schedules are typically provided about two weeks ahead
• Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile between eligible patient visits
• Required travel time is paid
• Eligible extended travel expenses are covered, including transportation, rental car when needed, hotel, and meals

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, credential, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
• Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
• Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements
• Ability to travel throughout Colorado, complete overnight assignments, and occasionally travel to nearby states

• Medicare Annual Wellness Visit or preventive-care experience
• Home-visit, mobile-care, field-based, or community health experience
• Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing
