Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and maintain strong relationships with data-center operators, system vendors, and transceiver manufacturers.
- →Gain a deep understanding of customer technology roadmaps to uncover new product-development opportunities.
- →Drive strategic account plans and launch innovative fiber-optic connectivity solutions.
- →Act as a consultative partner by presenting tailored technical and commercial proposals.
- →Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to define clear product requirements.
- →Manage multiple technology and application development programs from kickoff to delivery.
- →Represent US Conec at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
- →Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights to inform innovation and business strategy.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred).
- Proven success in business development or strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of optical communications and the data-center ecosystem.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business opportunities.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Solid project-management, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently (25% or more).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Hands-on experience with fiber-optic cabling, connectors, and related hardware.
- Familiarity with data-center infrastructure design and deployment.
- Understanding of network architectures, including optical switching and interconnect technologies.
