The Manufacturing Process Operations Associate Coordinator is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing workforce schedules for a large, fast-paced production facility. This role ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet production demands while adhering to union agreements, seniority rules, and labor laws. The coordinator works closely with operations leadership, HR, and union representatives to support smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities

- →Ensure compliance with union contracts, seniority rules, and shift bidding processes
- →Coordinate shift assignments, overtime, and coverage for absences
- →Monitor attendance and adjust schedules in real time to meet production needs
- →Collaborate with supervisors and department leads to forecast staffing requirements
- →Maintain accurate scheduling records and workforce data
- →Support grievance resolution related to scheduling issues
- →Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and reduce labor costs

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s or equivalent preferred
- Cronos experience or Payroll or similar experience preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse or logistics required.
- This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
- 2–5 years of scheduling, workforce planning, or operations coordination required.
- Experience in a unionized manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred
- Ability to work any shift with flexibility to work overtime based on team needs
- Workforce management or scheduling software (e.g., Kronos, UKG)
- Strong Excel / data management skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Not required but relevant certifications are a plus
