The Procurement Specialist 2, Business Partner, serves as an advisor and execution lead for sourcing, supplier management, and procurement optimization across assigned business units. This role partners closely with stakeholders to maintain P2P discipline and translate business needs into sourcing strategies that deliver value, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance. This role blends commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and procurement expertise with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

What You’ll Do
- Acts as the primary procurement contact for assigned functions, aligning sourcing strategies to business goals.
- Participates in periodic planning, demand forecasting, and budget cycles; challenge specifications to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Provides market insights, supplier innovation, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Works closely with Strategic Sourcing Manager on end-to-end sourcing events and competitive negotiations for medium-to-high complexity categories.
- Develops and executes sourcing plans, including market analysis and supplier segmentation.
- Drives multi-year value pipelines (cost savings, cost avoidance, process efficiency, operational risk reduction).
- Negotiates and finalize terms and conditions, SLAs, and KPIs in collaboration with Legal and stakeholders.
- Ensures contracts reflect business requirements, data privacy, information security, and regulatory needs.
- Manages contract lifecycle, renewals, extensions, and amendments.
- Onboards, evaluates, and manages suppliers; conduct ABR’s/QBR’s and performance reviews.
- Addresses performance issues, implement corrective actions, and foster innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensures adherence to procurement policy, competitive bidding standards, and approval workflows.
- Maintains audit-ready documentation.
- Supports SOX controls as applicable.
- Uses S2P systems (e.g., Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, Oracle, Ivalua) to manage PO flow, associated contracts, and data reporting
- Analyzes spend, savings, and KPI dashboards; develop insights and recommendations for stakeholders
- Perform other job duties as assigned.

Basic Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of applicable industryexperience; OR
- Master’s degree with 2 years of applicable industry experience
- Prior experience in procurement
Preferred Requirements / Certifications
- Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain; experience as a business partner to functional teams (e.g., IT, Engineering, HR, Operations) strongly preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, life sciences, public sector)
- Experience with S2P/P2P systems (Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, Oracle, Ivalua), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and eRFx tools.
- Knowledge of procurement policies, competitive bidding, and contract lifecycle management.
- CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent
