We’re a fast-growing prop-tech company with headquarters in Austin, TX and Guadalajara, Mexico, supported by 70+ team members across sales, onboarding, operations, and product. Our Business Development organization is large, fast-moving, and highly data-driven—and that’s where this role comes in.
The Utility Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for reviewing large volumes of addresses and accurately identifying and adding the corresponding utility providers for internet, electricity, water, gas, and trash services. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with data entry, and familiarity with various utility providers and their service areas.

Verify the accuracy of data entered and correct any discrepancies.

Conduct online research to find and confirm utility provider information when necessary.

Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and integrity.

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Generate and update reports as required.

Willingness to make phone calls to providers to ensure accuracy for provider.
Requirements

Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
Contractor Status: Candidates will join the Company as Contractors, and would provide their own equipment (ex laptop or personal computer) that meets the necessary technical specifications required to perform the job duties.
As a Contractor, candidate will not be eligible for Company benefits.

~1 min readThe position requires working remotely from Mexico (or a location within 2 hours of US Central Time Zone).
The role requires extended periods of sitting and using a computer.
Candidates should be open to working shifts from either 9am-6pm CT, or 10am-7pm CT during the week and on the weekends. We are specifically looking for candidates with weekend availability.
Must be able to handle repetitive tasks and maintain focus over extended periods.
