We are looking for a motivated Finance (FP&A) Intern to join our Finance team for a 6-week summer internship. This role is designed for students interested in corporate finance, financial analysis, and business decision‑making, and offers hands‑on experience working alongside experienced FP&A professionals. You will gain hands-on experience supporting core FP&A activities while working closely with experienced finance professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a 6 week summer internship.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support monthly financial reporting activities
- →Assist with analyzing actual results vs. budget and forecast
- →Help build and update Excel‑based financial models, analyses, and dashboards
- →Help compile data and materials for management and executive reporting
- →Learn how Finance partners with the business to support decision‑making
- →Complete a short analytical project and present insights at the end of the internship
- How FP&A supports corporate strategy and planning
- Practical Excel and financial analysis skills used in real business settings
- How financial data is turned into insights for leadership
- How Finance teams collaborate across departments
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong interest in corporate finance and FP&A and systems
- Comfortable working with Excel (prior finance internship experience not required)
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

For candidates based in our San Diego office, the salary (or hourly range is $XX - $XX.
For candidates based in our South San Francisco office, the salary or hourly range is $XX - $XX.
For candidates working remote (US), the salary or hourly range is $XX - $XX.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience, skillset, geographic location, industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
