Seeking a full-time professional in Iraq, supporting Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) Maintenance & Repair Support project. This position supports 24/7 aviation operations in a deployed environment and ensures safe, efficient, and compliant airfield operations while supporting mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test electronic systems supporting NAVAIDS, communications, airfield lighting, and aviation operations.
- →Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with FAA, ICAO, DoD, OEM, and contract requirements.
- →Diagnose electronic equipment failures using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- →Repair circuit boards, power supplies, control modules, electronic assemblies, and associated support equipment.
Requirements

- Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
- Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from the wheels-up deployment date to the site.
- Must satisfy and maintain all medical screening requirements.
- Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.
- Ability to perform essential job duties in a deployed environment.
- Minimum 4 years of electronics maintenance and repair experience.
- Associate degree, military technical training, vocational training, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Avionics, or related field.
- Technical certification in electronics or related discipline.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic systems, control systems, and associated support equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and electronic test equipment.
- Knowledge of electronic theory, circuit analysis, power distribution, and component-level troubleshooting.
- Experience with aviation, airfield, military, communications, NAVAIDS, or defense systems preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, fault isolation, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Certified on equipment/systems prior to performing maintenance or repair activities.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs as required.
