The Security Dispatcher serves as a fundamental component of the team charged with upholding the safety and protection of the Cooperative Security Location (CSL). The role encompasses monitoring and managing various security systems such as communication systems, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and intrusion detection systems. Through vigilant and comprehensive surveillance, the Dispatcher remains attuned to any anomalous activities that may jeopardize the security and integrity of the monitored environment. In emergency situations, their primary duty is to swiftly assess the circumstances at hand and determine an optimal course of action. This may involve liaising with CSL NAVY Security, CEPA Airport authorities, local law enforcement agencies, or the Salvadoran 2nda Brigada Aerea for additional support. Moreover, they collaborate with fire departments to address potential hazards and coordinate medical services for injuries or medical emergencies. Additionally, Dispatchers are responsible for requesting and coordinating critical aircraft services. These duties constitute integral functions that are managed by Dispatch.

- →Coordinates, and schedules various Aircraft services. To include but are not limited to fueling, key loading, potable water, stairs, power cart, towing assistance, and lavatory services. This process involves meticulous planning and organization to ensure that all necessary services are arranged in advance.
- →Facilitates meetings between Aircraft Pilots and CEPA Flight Plan Officials, responsible for receiving, evaluating, and sanctioning flight plans.
- →Responds to emergency situations within the CSL and outside of its confines. These may include vehicular accidents, criminal activity, sudden fire alarms, severe weather incidents, and other similar events. Ensures the safety and security of all individuals involved in such scenarios through swift and effective action.
- →Serves as the primary liaison for all security operations and dispatch personnel, ensuring swift and efficient responses to all matters pertaining to security.
- →Complies with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), instructions, and directives as prescribed in BOS-CSL contract.
- →Accurately reports aircraft arrival and departure times.
- →Announces all personnel, property, or vehicles that enter the CSL compound.
- →Ensures constant surveillance of all areas monitored by CSL CCTV system and fire alarms.
- →Performs access control duties at the ECP and Admin Building’s primary entry point via the electronic door-locking device.
- →Issues temporary security badges to personnel visiting the CSL facilities, and record required information.
- →Monitors radio traffic on UHF 2-way radio and maintains communication with CSL personnel.
- →Ensures accurate pass-down information is provided between shift/crews.
- →Answers phones and provides information.
- →Monitors communications and routing calls to emergency services.
- →Coordinates and monitors video surveillance and access control systems.
- →Maintains logs and reports.
- →Activates/ conducts Muster Recalls.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Must be proficient in both English and Spanish languages with exceptional command. Competence in speaking, reading, and writing is required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be a Salvadoran Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a National Police and American Embassy background security check.
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Must work variable work shifts, odd workweeks, and overtime hours.
- Must possess a valid / current Salvadoran issued Driver’s License
- Must have a safe driving record, as per corporate policy, to operate corporate and Government vehicles.
- Prior experience as a Security Dispatcher is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure emergency situations.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrates leadership and models desired behaviors appropriate to work environment.
- Displays courtesy and skill in dealing with Versar and military personnel.
- Maintains and updates records to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information.
- Follows up on suspense items to ensure timely completion.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality performance.
- Adheres to professional standards of dress, hygiene, and conduct while representing the company.
- Must be able to lift up-to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand from 2 to 4 Hr. periods.
- Must be able to sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods.
