We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-focused CNC Operator to join our expanding Sheet Metal Department in Campsie site, Derry/Londonderry.

As a CNC Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacture of modular components for Electrical Switchgear systems. Using advanced Trumpf Punching and Bending machinery, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metal components to exact specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

• →Set up, program, and operate CNC Punching and Robotic Bending machines.
• →Manufacture precision components for LV & MV switchgear systems.
• →Adjust machine settings including speeds and feeds based on technical drawings and specifications.
• →Load and unload materials while ensuring dimensional accuracy.
• →Carry out detailed quality inspections against 3D models and engineering drawings.
• →Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machinery issues.
• →Collaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly teams to meet production targets.
• →Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• →Maintain accurate machine settings, maintenance logs, and production records.
• →Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

• Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Strong CNC programming, operating, and troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience working with sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Technical training or certification in CNC, Welding, Automation, or related disciplines is preferred. Knowledge of GD&T and material specifications, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and strong communication and teamwork skills would be advantageous in this role.
