We're looking for a skilled service technician in cooling and HVAC to join our service team in Norway. This role is ideal for someone who wants a varied working day out at customer sites, with responsibility for service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced cooling and thermal solutions — including data centres and critical infrastructure.
You'll work with modern technology on some of Norway's most exciting data centre projects, while being part of an international company with strong development opportunities.
Responsibilities
~1 min readYour day to day will involve service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cooling and HVAC systems, including repairs and emergency callouts during operational downtime. You'll provide customer follow up and technical support in the field, document and report on completed work, and plan and carry out preventive maintenance. You'll participate in on call rota and standby duties, ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HSE procedures and applicable regulations, and contribute to upselling and identifying new service needs with customers.
- Trade certificate as a refrigeration installer, cooling technician, or equivalent
- F-gas certification (category 1)
- Experience with cooling, HVAC, DX systems, or thermal solutions
- Driving licence (category B)
- Good Norwegian and English skills, both spoken and written
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Bonus: experience from data centres or other critical environments
- Bonus: familiarity with control systems or BMS
- Bonus: general IT understanding and experience with digital reporting
- Bonus: strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service
