Perform training of field service associates, customers, and service partners on all UPS, power, and monitoring systems. Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Write literature and materials to be used in training programs and design exercises to enhance lectures. Conduct classes regarding safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Deliver high-profile, high-impact service training programs delivered in multiple modes – instructor-led and virtual workshops, train-the-trainer, on-the-job, self-paced online courses and videos, and technical solution lab exercises in line with the Global Academy instructions and guidelines.
- →Work with Academy Team from Global Training on training structure, learning objectives and training contents.
- →Develop and deliver specific service training program for Asia based on the training regional needs.
- →Define, prepare and update the training material covering the power product portfolio: online theoretical material and tests, multimedia tools, procedures, residential classroom material and practical exercises, final tests; trainer's additional material and teaching notes; support the creation of TKO documentation
- →Ensure the communication about product updates from Global Academy Team to the Asia Service Organization:
- →Successfully and effectively deliver training sessions in blended learning: remote self-learning, residential classroom, final exams and diploma ceremony; if needed, deliver courses in other training centres or sites.
- →Successfully attend Train the Trainers sessions and the Trainer’s Accreditation process.
- →Maintain Training Area and the demo units at their best for welcoming students and providing effective and complete training experiences.
- →Support local trainers in ANZ for their relevant Training Areas set up.
Qualifications
- →Electrical/electronic technical degree or equivalent training/field experience.
- →5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical installation, commissioning, or field service within data center, industrial, or commercial environments.
- →Strong working knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, including switchgear, busway/busbar, UPS and Energy Storage infrastructure.
- →Excellent written & verbal communication skills with an emphasis on presentation and facilitation skills for both the classroom and lab environments.
- →Knowledge of, and experience with, adult learning theory and principles or equivalent.
- →Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical content clearly to adult learners.
- →Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- →Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
- →Positive attitude, adaptability, and comfort operating in a fast-changing, product-launch-driven environment.
