Concentrate Packager (Proper Brands)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cannabis Concentrate Packager to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical and recreational cannabis market into a reality.  

Our Cannabis Concentrate Packager will work out of our warehouse location in Rock Hill.  Full-time employees will receive medical benefits, paid time off, and a starting rate of $17.50/hr. The job is Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

• →Packaging a wide variety of vapes and concentrates.
• →Ensuring consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures outlined by the company;
• →Setting up work station according to daily packaging goals established by the Processing Director;
• →Following and completing a defined packaging list;
• →Determining whether and what additional packagers are needed to assist;
• →Recording data in all necessary software platforms;
• →Packaging infused products into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations;
• →Monitoring packaged products for quality and consistency;
• →Assisting in the monitoring of dates and labels on all inventory and alerting to the need of scheduled destruction as necessary;
• →Updating and maintaining accurate Processing production records;
• →Working as part of a team to meet production schedules;
• →Maintaining relevant training as new products are introduced;
• →Assisting packaging department as needed;
• →Ensures the cleanliness and safety of the extraction workspaces;
• →Performing all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.

• High school diploma or GED;
• General knowledge or passion for cannabis;
• 1+ years of professional and/or personal experience working in a lab that adheres to strict health and safety standards preferred;
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card by start date;
• Must be 21 years of age or older;
• Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Strong process orientation;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The following education, skills, and experience are preferred for this role:

• Knowledge of extraction, product manufacturing, vape oil, product processing, “bubble hash,” and distillation;
• Knowledge of extraction labs.
