What the role is about:

We are seeking an elite, high-velocity Senior Corporate Accountant who thrives in a rigorous, performance-driven environment. This is not a "maintenance" role; it is for a proactive professional who takes extreme ownership of the general ledger and demands excellence in every work product. You are expected to master complex lease, fixed asset, and general corporate accounting workstreams while maintaining a relentless bias for action. We want a builder who works tirelessly to elevate the accounting function and ensures our financial reporting is bulletproof. This role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager.

What impact you'll make:
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

  • Perform detailed variance analysis and provide financial insights to management

  • Manage lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842

  • Maintain lease schedules, including right-of-use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities

  • Prepare monthly lease amortization entries and reconciliations

  • Review new contracts to determine lease classification and accounting treatment

  • Coordinate with operations and legal teams to ensure accurate lease data

  • Maintain fixed asset subledger and capitalization policies

  • Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation

  • Reconcile fixed asset ledger to the general ledger monthly

  • Ensure proper classification between capital and expense items

  • Quarterback the capital budgeting and capital approval request processes

  • Support external audit requests and prepare audit documentation

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function

  • Provide support across all accounting functions as business needs evolve, including ad hoc reporting, reconciliations, process improvements, and special projects
  • Act as a collaborative team player willing to step into additional accounting responsibilities to support departmental goals and operational scalability
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CPA or candidate preferred).

  • Experience: 4–6 years of progressive experience in technical accounting roles and a mix of public and private accounting.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (modeling/macros) and proficiency in mid-to-large tier ERP systems.

  • Mindset: Proven ability to manage heavy workloads and meet strict deadlines during compressed cycles without sacrificing quality.

  • Accuracy: Zero material adjustments required during month-end or annual audits.

  • Reliability: 100% on-time completion of all reconciliations and audit deliverables.
