This role focuses on ensuring stable operations, high availability, and reliable performance of critical OSS platforms, directly contributing to service continuity and an improved customer experience through proactive and reactive system maintenance. ## What you’ll do * Administer OSS critical applications, including Fault and Performance Management platforms, Probing platforms, Backup solutions, and related systems supporting Vodafone Romania. * Perform troubleshooting and fault management activities, implementing both temporary and permanent corrective actions to restore and improve service availability. * Collaborate with third-party hardware and software vendors to ensure timely problem resolution in line with agreed expectations. * Execute daily routine monitoring and health checks across OSS systems, identifying risks and improvement opportunities. * Implement and enhance automated incident detection and system monitoring capabilities. * Contribute to new project activities by providing technical input, implementing improvements, validating configuration changes, and supporting updates to processes and work instructions. * Design, configure, implement, and maintain in-house monitoring tools, delivering services in line with agreed SLAs. ## Who you are * Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders. * A structured problem-solver, able to analyse issues and identify effective, sustainable solutions. * Comfortable working on complex initiatives and managing priorities under tight deadlines. * Experienced in building and maintaining productive working relationships across internal teams and external partners. * Confident collaborating across multi-functional and multicultural environments to deliver outcomes and change. * Skilled in reporting and analysis to support operational visibility and decision-making. * Educated to university level in computer science, communication engineering, or a closely related science or engineering discipline. * Bringing at least one year of relevant experience in telecommunications or computer systems and internet services, ideally in an application, NMS, or probing administration role. * Experienced in Linux operating system administration. * Exposure to probing platforms, signalling protocols, and major Fault and Performance Management tools is advantageous. * Motivated to learn and develop programming or scripting skills; prior experience is a plus. ## Not a perfect fit?
