This role offers the opportunity to enhance roaming service quality across global networks, contribute to service launches, troubleshoot network performance issues, and drive intelligent automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer experience. The successful candidate will work across 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and VoLTE technologies while developing AI-powered solutions, automation workflows and analytics capabilities. ## What you’ll do ### Telecom & Roaming * Manage and monitor roaming service quality across 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and VoLTE networks. * Support roaming service launches, IREG activities, KPI reviews and service assurance activities. * Investigate roaming performance issues through call flow analysis, network traces and technical troubleshooting. * Collaborate with international operators, suppliers and technology partners to resolve service issues. * Analyse roaming KPIs and recommend improvement actions to enhance customer experience. * Contribute to end-to-end roaming testing activities and validation processes. * Support roaming-related operational activities and quality improvements across Vodafone's global roaming ecosystem. ### AI & Automation * Develop automation solutions using Python and Java to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities. * Design and implement AI and GenAI solutions for KPI analysis, operational insights and troubleshooting support. * Create Copilot Agents and workflow automation solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate. * Build dashboards, reporting tools and data analytics solutions to support business decision-making. * Contribute to digital transformation initiatives through intelligent automation and innovative technology adoption. * Support API automation, scripting and testing automation initiatives. ## Who you are ### Experience * 6 to 10 years of total professional experience. * 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience within the roaming domain. * Proven exposure to AI, GenAI, Agentic AI or intelligent automation initiatives. * Experience working in telecom testing, service assurance, roaming operations or network performance environments. ### Telecom Knowledge * Strong understanding of roaming services and end-to-end roaming testing lifecycle. * Technical expertise across 2G, 3G, LTE, VoLTE and 5G technologies. * Knowledge of LTE and 5G SA/NSA architectures and roaming scenarios. * Understanding of roaming call flows and signalling procedures. * Knowledge of core network nodes and their interactions. * Experience in KPI analysis, service troubleshooting and network performance monitoring. * Familiarity with IREG and TADIG processes. * Knowledge of Diameter, MAP and CAMEL protocols is desirable. * LPWA knowledge would be advantageous. ### Technical Skills * Python (essential). * Java (essential). * AI, GenAI and Microsoft Copilot technologies. * Power Apps and Power Automate. * Selenium and API Automation. * SQL and data analytics. * AI-enabled testing and Agentic AI supervision concepts. * Power BI, reporting analytics and workflow automation capabilities. * Knowledge of responsible AI controls and governance principles. ### Preferred Tools * SIGOS or Syniverse Analyzer. * Kibana. * Tableau or Power BI. ### Core Competencies * Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Critical thinking and sound technical judgement. * Stakeholder collaboration and communication skills. * Automation-first mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. * Ability to work across global teams and international partners. * Strong reporting and data-driven decision-making capabilities. ## Not a perfect fit?
