Avenue Z is hiring an AI GTM Engineer to help turn recurring marketing and go-to-market work into systems.
This person will sit at the intersection of digital marketing, advertising, revenue operations, automation, and internal product development. The role is focused on building practical systems that improve speed, reduce manual work, tighten execution, and create measurable business impact.
This is a builder role. You should understand how digital marketing and advertising tactics work in practice and be comfortable moving from stakeholder conversations to requirements, from requirements to workflow logic, and from workflow logic to shipped systems.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Identify repetitive, high-value work across PR, SEO, content, paid media, reporting, operations, and client delivery.
- →Design and build AI agents, automations, and workflows that improve throughput and reduce manual effort.
- →Translate business problems into practical systems using prompts, approvals, data inputs, routing logic, and human review where needed.
- →Partner with team leads to improve execution speed, reporting quality, handoffs, and operational visibility.
- →Document what you build, drive adoption, and improve workflows over time.
- →Connect automation work to measurable business outcomes including time saved, capacity created, and revenue support.
- 2-5 years in automation, marketing operations, revenue operations, product, systems, or a similarly execution-heavy role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, GTM, and advertising tactics.
- Strong working knowledge of building AI agents and automations with n8n, Zapier, Make, Cursor, Claude Code, Glean, or similar advanced platforms.
- Comfortable with AI tools, APIs, prompts, connected systems, and workflow automation platforms.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, database systems, and Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
- Able to gather requirements, manage ambiguity, and ship working systems quickly.
- Comfortable communicating clearly in writing and verbally with senior executives.
- Strong operator with sound judgment, high agency, and a bias toward action.
- Able to move between technical detail and business impact.
- High-value workflows shipped into production quickly.
- Clear reduction in manual work.
- Faster turnaround across recurring GTM and marketing processes.
- Strong internal adoption.
- Measurable impact on output, capacity, and revenue support.
Requirements

- Base salary commensurate with experience and demonstrated AI tool proficiency
- Benefits package including health, dental, and vision
