If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact. ## Role Purpose Planning & Design for VF-EG transport network to ensure best network quality and best customer experience. ## Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership * Managing rollout & integration of backhaul IP nodes from both technical & Management perspectives * Preparing scripts &Managing IP configurations/migrations over Backhaul Routers while ensuring best customer experience & resilience * Manage & align all project activities across different stakeholders inside & outside Vodafone * Responsible for building & maintaining Project plans for assigned projects along with reporting both progress & challenges * Monitor transmission stock and hardware release from TX warehouse * Responsible for managing penetration of the IP/MPLS in the backhaul network * Catering for the transmission capacity needed for the anticipated traffic growth according to VFE key priorities and strategy (leading in voice & data) * Responsible for automation of IP scripts needed for new projects * Rollout for new technologies and solutions to be introduced within VFEG transport domain ## Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience * Minimum of 2 years; post qualification experience in the Transmission and IP field (Preferable in Backhaul Domain) * Strong knowledge of the IP MW, IP/MPLS/Ethernet technologies * Good knowledge & experience in python/other programming languages * Good knowledge & experience in SDN and other related technologies is a plus * Full awareness with the Transport products and vendors * MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Access) * Stakeholder management capabilities * Good interpersonal & communication skills * Self-motivated and high time management ability. * Creative thinking to provide out of the box solution * Ability to work well under pressure. * Ability to learn and self-study Must have technical / professional qualifications: * BSC. in Electrical Engineering majoring in Communication and Electronic Engineering * Certifications in IP such as CCNA and CCNP or equivalent is a Must ## Who we are We are a leading international Telco, serving millions of customers.
