Hybrid
We believe that through collaboration and connection with our colleagues we can achieve great things. Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Health & Safety / Quality Assurance Incident Manager to strengthen VodafoneThree’s approach to managing and learning from HS&Q incidents across our deployment programmes. This role will ensure we build a safe, resilient operational environment by driving early risk identification, consistent reporting and robust investigation of all incidents, from observations to major events.
You will work across major programmes, collaborating with internal teams, regional functions and our supply chain to embed standardised processes, ensure compliance with CDM, HRB and RIDDOR, and translate incident insights into safer ways of working. This highly varied role sits at the centre of our incident governance, turning data and trends into meaningful actions that support leadership decision making and continuous improvement.
* Lead the end to end management of all Health, Safety and Quality incidents, ensuring accurate capture, timely escalation, compliant reporting (CDM, RIDDOR, HRB) and robust investigation of all events, from near misses to major incidents.
* Coordinate real time incident response, including scene preservation, stakeholder notification, initial triage and early engagement with Legal, SCM and other critical functions.
* Oversee and quality assure complex investigations, ensuring evidence based analysis, clear causal findings and actionable recommendations, with corrective and preventative actions tracked through to verified closure.
* Own incident governance and intelligence, maintaining a high quality incident database, analysing trends and emerging risks, and converting insights into targeted prevention programmes and safer ways of working.
* Drive supplier and internal accountability, reviewing incident performance, investigation quality and compliance, and leading cross supplier learning to embed consistent standards and continuous improvement.
* Champion a culture of openness, early escalation and prevention
##
Who you are
* Significant experience leading serious incident investigations and major incident response within telecoms, construction or other high risk, fast paced operational environments.
* Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and industry standards (e.g., CDM, RIDDOR, HSG245), with the ability to translate requirements into practical, operationally effective controls.
* Expertise in structured investigation methodologies, with the capability to analyse complex data, identify root causes and drive meaningful, measurable improvement actions.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to challenge constructively, engage senior leaders and hold suppliers to account while maintaining strong collaborative relationships.
* Proven experience working across multi contractor environments, partnering with supply chain organisations and cross functional teams to embed consistent standards and shared ownership of safety and quality.
