Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Responsibilities

Volunteering as a Smoke Free Advice Volunteer, you will play a key role to help us engage with the people who access our services by promoting the benefits of stopping smoking and providing interventions to those wishing to quit.

 

  • Personal Growth – Build confidence, learn new skills, share your expertise and gain hands-on experience in health and social care. 
  • Career Development – Access training, gain insight into the sector, and boost your CV for future opportunities. 
  • Make a Difference – Support people in their recovery and help create safer, healthier communities.

  • Travel expenses - reimburse all reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred in travelling to the place of volunteering and whilst carrying out any voluntary activities.

Values Based Conversations will be held the week commencing 9th November 2026. 

Volunteer training will be held once a week for six weeks on Mondays. Please note successful candidates will need to be available for all training days.
