Do you want a job connecting with youth in the field of behavioral health? Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring for dynamic Youth & Family Support Workers at our site! We provide a supportive culture that is team-focused and places value on healthy work dynamics.
What you will do:
Provide culturally informed therapeutic interventions to children, young adults, and their families, that promote skill building in the life domains of: social functioning, symptom management, coping skills and activities of daily living.
Collaborate with all members of the team to ensure continuity in treatment, services, and messages delivered.
Provide both "soft" services (mentoring, counseling, skill-building) with identified clients as well as "hard" services including transportation, referrals, accessing concrete services such as furniture, food, etc.
Serve as an advocate and attend meetings with the family and as requested by the youth and/or family.

Flexibility and creative thinking with an ability to adapt.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field plus at least 1 year of direct experience working with children, young adults, and/or families.
Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
We will train you in: Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Trauma Informed Practice; Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC).
