About the Role
~1 min readThe Senior Operations Business Analyst is responsible for providing operational visibility, business intelligence, and process governance support to the Vice President of Operations. This role develops and maintains executive dashboards, automates operational reporting, and establishes standardized reporting structures that support data-driven decision-making. The position owns the Product Introduction Process (PIP) and supports the development, governance, reporting framework, and continuous improvement of the S&OP process through automation, KPI management, and cross-functional coordination.
The analyst serves as a key resource connecting Sales, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Finance to improve communication, reporting accuracy, and business execution. This role acts as the operational business partner to leadership, focusing on process ownership, visibility, automation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities

- →Automate data collection and reporting processes for weekly, monthly, and quarterly Operations Reviews.
- →Develop and maintain standardized KPI definitions and reporting methodologies.
- →Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and provide actionable recommendations.
- →Prepare scorecards, presentations, and executive reports for leadership review.
- →Maintain real-time dashboards and reporting tools that support operational decision-making.
- →Act as the liaison between business users and technical resources to improve reporting effectiveness.
- →Support S&OP processes with accurate and timely analytical inputs:
- →Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- →Develop and maintain standardized templates, dashboards, meeting scorecards, and reporting structures.
- →Establish reporting governance and KPI frameworks that support effective decision-making. ·
- →Coordinate collection, validation, and consolidation of data required for monthly S&OP reviews.
- →Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting enhancements.
- →Product Introduction Process Ownership:
- →Own and maintain the Product Introduction Process from project initiation through operational readiness.
- →Develop and maintain standard workflows, milestone tracking, governance requirements, and process documentation.
- →Coordinate activities among Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Finance.
- →Drive continuous improvement of the Product Introduction Process.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Field of Study: Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and business reporting platforms.
- Understanding of S&OP processes and business planning methodologies.
- Knowledge of Product Introduction (PIP/NPI) processes.
- Strong reporting automation and data management capabilities.
- Process mapping, workflow design, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
- Project coordination and cross-functional facilitation experience
