Quick Summary
Find Great Talent Source and engage high-quality candidates for corporate positions and manufacturing leadership roles, including supervisors and managers.
Welch's is on a journey towards our bold ambition of being the global-leader of convenient, good for you fruit-based food and beverages. To turn this goal into a reality we need you and other exceptionally talented, agile, and innovative individuals who are eager to contribute to something extraordinary!

About the Role
~1 min readWe’re looking for a creative, resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist who is excited to help Welch’s find exceptional talent.
You’ll support recruiting across Welch’s, with a particular focus on hourly hiring programs across our manufacturing plants, manager and supervisor-level plant positions, and select corporate roles.
This is not a transactional recruiting role. We want someone who thinks creatively about where talent comes from, builds pipelines before positions open, understands what great talent looks like, and cares deeply about the candidate experience.
Ultimately, you’ll help us build Welch’s into the best place you’ve ever worked by hiring people who will make us better.

Bring fresh ideas for community outreach, recruiting events, referral programs, workforce organizations, and local talent partnerships.

Track hourly recruiting activity and outcomes to identify what is working, where candidates are dropping out of the process, and where improvements are needed.
-
Help plant teams create an efficient and engaging experience from application through interview and offer.
-
Make every candidate interaction feel personal, responsive, and distinctly Welch’s.
-
Serve as an ambassador for our culture, our brands, our farmer-owners, and our aspiration to be the best place someone has ever worked.

Experiment with new tools and technologies that can improve sourcing, candidate engagement, recruiter productivity, and the hiring experience.
-
Bring a systems mindset and continuously look for better ways to do the work.
-
Help create recruiting processes that are scalable, measurable, and easy for hiring teams to follow.
-
Demonstrated experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, staffing, or a related field.

An analytical mindset and interest in using data to improve recruiting decisions.

The initiative to see something that could be better and do something about it.
-
The ability to work independently while building strong partnerships across the organization.
-
Have moxie.
-
Ask good questions.
-
Aren’t afraid to pick up the phone and reach out to someone you’ve never met.

-
Are comfortable taking ownership and being accountable for results.

Care about building a workplace people genuinely want to be part of.
This role is based in Waltham, Massachusetts, and follows a hybrid schedule, with employees expected to be in the office Monday through Wednesday and working remotely Thursday and Friday.
The role also requires regular travel to Welch’s manufacturing locations. Travel will be more frequent during the first several months as you build relationships with plant leaders, learn the work, understand local labor markets, and establish clear recruiting processes and quality standards.
As those relationships, expectations, pipelines, and recruiting rhythms become established, we expect the frequency of travel to decrease. The goal is not travel for travel’s sake. It is to build enough understanding, trust, and recruiting discipline that strong hiring outcomes can be sustained over time.
Welch’s is unlike most companies. We are owned by hundreds of family farmers, many of whom have been growing grapes for generations. Our products are made by people who care deeply about what they do and the communities where we operate.
We’re building a workplace where talented people can grow, contribute, and do some of the best work of their careers.
If you’re a creative and determined recruiter who is willing to challenge the status quo and excited about helping us find the people who will shape what Welch’s becomes next, we’d love to meet you.
At Welch’s, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven organization with a bold vision for the future and a culture built on collaboration, belonging, and impact. We offer a comprehensive rewards package designed to support your well-being, growth, and success, including:
- Inclusive culture: Join a workplace where you belong, are encouraged to share your voice, and have the opportunity to be the best version of yourself.
- Passionate community: Make an individual impact on the success of the business while working alongside colleagues who care deeply about what we do.
- Hybrid work model: Enjoy a flexible and collaborative work environment designed to support well-being, productivity, and connection.
- Paid time off and holidays: Take time away from work to rest, recharge, and focus on what matters most.
- Paid volunteer time off: Receive 40 hours of paid volunteer time annually for all non-union employees.
- Development and advancement: Access LinkedIn Learning, tuition reimbursement, and both formal and informal opportunities to grow your career.
- Competitive compensation: Receive a competitive base salary and annual incentive plan.
- 401(k) plan: Benefit from a generous company match to help support your financial future.
- Flexible benefits from day one: Choose benefits that meet your needs and preferences, including health, dental, and vision insurance; health savings accounts; life and accident insurance; Employee Assistance Programs; and additional savings through Perks at Work.
- Paid parental and adoption leave: Available after 6 months of employment.
