Are you the one we’re looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Coordinator, Operations and Property Services (Contract)
who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other.

The Coordinator, Operations and Property Services is a full-time contract position starting as soon as possible and ending March 31, 2027. The rate of pay is $26.55 per hour, 40 hours/week.

The position supports coverages in multiple areas of operations and property services, ensuring that day-to-day operations run effectively. This includes overseeing Cleaning and Driving staff, ensuring facilities and services run smoothly, and providing project coordination and implementation for projects across the organization. The role primarily reports to the Manager, Operations and Director, Operations and Property Services, with some project-based reporting to other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with manager and team to carry out daily operational activities that ensure the effective and efficient operation of the portfolio, in alignment with policies, procedures and best practices.
  2. Coordinate Cleaning and Driving schedules and support day-to-day needs like scheduling coverages, issuing petty cash, resolving on-site challenges, and handling facility needs.
  3. Support departmental hiring processes, onboarding, and record keeping.
  4. Cover reception duties when needed including helping visitors, responding to community inquiries, sorting mail, assisting staff with room bookings, and participating in emergency procedures.
  5. Support procurement including sourcing, ordering, distribution of supplies, and communications with service providers.
  6. Coordinate and implement assigned project activities for Operations and Property Services and other functions as required, including planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, record keeping and reporting to relevant parties.
  7. Participate in continuous improvement processes including data collection, evaluation and data-informed development.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to implement operational improvements, share updates, and address cross-functional challenges.
  9. Work with Managers to update and implement procedures, manuals and activities that reduce organizational risk, enhance safety and improve operational effectiveness.
  10. Other duties as required.

What you will bring:

  1. Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  2. Prior experience overseeing operations teams, facilities, and project coordination.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication for interacting with staff, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  5. Detail-oriented, proven ability to multitask and adaptable to changing conditions.
