Are you an experienced waste management professional ready to take the next step in your career and make a real environmental impact? We are looking for a motivated Head of HRRC and Waste Contracts to lead the strategic and day-to-day operation of our Household Reuse and Recycling Centre (HRRC) and Waste Transfer Station (WTS).

In this key leadership role, you will ensure both facilities operate safely, efficiently and in line with environmental regulations, while improving reuse and recycling performance and delivering an excellent service to residents and trade customers.

Responsibilities

→Proven operational management experience in waste management, recycling or environmental services, ideally within an HRRC or WTS environment.

→Relevant industry qualifications, such as WAMITAB COTC and IOSH or NEBOSH certification.

→Strong experience of managing waste contracts, budgets and contractor relationships.

→A successful track record of leading, motivating and developing operational teams in a fast-paced environment.

→Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to resolve complex operational issues and respond to public and trade enquiries calmly and professionally.
