Looking for a part‑time role that fits around study, other work or life commitments? Just finished Year 12, studying at Uni or TAFE, or have retail experience and want flexible hours? We’d love to hear from you.
As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the friendly face customers see when they walk into our Kingscote branch. You don’t need banking experience — if you’re good with people and enjoy helping others, we’ll teach you the rest.
You’ll play an important role helping customers with their everyday banking and making sure they feel welcomed and supported.
- Assisting customers with over‑the‑counter banking transactions (cash deposits, withdrawals and general enquiries)
- Creating a positive, friendly experience for everyone who visits the branch
- Helping customers learn how to use online banking and our award‑winning mobile app
- Referring customers to the right specialist when they need help with things like home loans or business banking
- Handling cash accurately and balancing at the end of the day
- Following simple processes to ensure compliance and security
No two days are the same, and every interaction is a chance to make a real difference to someone’s day.
This role is perfect if you’re studying, easing into the workforce, or looking for reliable part‑time hours.
- Customer service experience (retail, hospitality or similar is ideal)
- Confidence talking to people and a friendly, approachable attitude
- Basic numeracy skills and comfort handling cash
- Willingness to learn new systems and technology
- Ability to stay calm and professional when things get busy
At Westpac, we set you up for success from day one. You’ll receive full training, hands‑on support and ongoing guidance from a welcoming team who want to see you thrive. This is a great opportunity to build transferable skills, gain experience with a leading brand, and grow your confidence in a professional environment.
If you’re looking for a flexible, people‑focused role with guaranteed hours — we’d love to meet you.
