This is a permanent full time role with a hybrid working model, based in Sydney, Warrane, Gadigal Country.
This role sits at the intersection of modern engineering and technology risk. You’ll work as a first line risk partner, supporting Technology leaders as they scale AI enabled engineering, strengthen DevSecOps practices and embed trust, safety and compliance by design.
You’ll be close to delivery, working across both run and change. From AI tools and developer platforms to data engineering and SDLC automation, you’ll translate technology and engineering decisions into clear, practical risk advice. You’ll help teams understand what matters, why it matters and what actions are needed to move fast with confidence and stay within risk appetite.
You’ll thrive if you enjoy being close to technology, partnering with engineers and delivery leaders, and turning complex risk into simple, actionable insight that enables safe speed rather than slowing teams down.
- Ability to connect technology and engineering risks to business outcomes, turning complexity into clear, actionable insights.
- Understanding of technology risk and compliance frameworks, including cyber and data risk.
- Experience providing technology risk advisory and oversight across both run and change environments.
- Confidence engaging with engineers, delivery leads and senior stakeholders, including producing clear risk reporting.
- Strong problem solving, prioritisation and learning agility in fast paced, evolving technology environments.
