In this role, you’ll provide dedicated second line compliance support to our Consumer Lending business, helping teams make well informed decisions that balance customer outcomes, regulatory expectations, and business priorities. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to interpret obligations, assess emerging risks, and guide the business through change with clarity and confidence.

You’ll play a key part in strengthening our compliance framework and supporting a mature Three Lines of Defence model, while building effective partnerships across Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal and the broader Consumer division. If you’re energised by complex challenges and enjoy shaping best practice compliance outcomes, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.

 

You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in compliance, regulatory interpretation, or non‑financial risk roles with a focus on consumer lending within financial services.
  • Confidence advising senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes in a complex environment.
  • The ability to analyse regulatory change and translate it into clear, practical guidance.
  • Strong judgement, resilience, and a commitment to professional integrity.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build constructive relationships across diverse teams.
