What’s the role?
The Senior Manager will play a key role in evaluating the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the investigation outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of financial crime compliance, and a proven track record in investigation skills, with a specialism in Transaction Monitoring.
You will lead a team delivering Quality Assurance across financial crime operations, overseeing key investigation processes. The role is responsible for designing and maintaining an effective QA framework, ensuring strong review quality, capability alignment, and identification of individual and thematic issues. Reporting to the Executive Manager, you’ll provide insights on review outcomes, emerging trends, and risks to support high-quality investigation standards across the financial crime ecosystem.
What do I need?
- Significant financial crime operational environment experience (investigations or QA) with specialism in Transaction Monitoring (essential)
- Experience in managing QA or investigations teams within a large and complex organisation (essential)
- Experience designing QA frameworks, including skills assessments, training materials, and using metrics to drive quality and team efficiency (data/analytics experience advantageous).
- Proven ability to challenge case outcomes and drive constructive quality discussions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability to identify and address compliance risks proactively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex insights to senior leadership.
