Debris Monitor - Franklin Parish

Summary: The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company, is seeking reliable individuals to join our team as Debris Monitors. Debris Monitors play a critical role in disaster recovery by verifying debris eligibility and ensuring accurate documentation. Field Monitors record the location of storm-related debris, while Tower/Debris Management Site (DMS) Monitors track the volume of debris collected at designated sites. This is a seasonal position activated during and after disaster response events. Assignments often require short-notice travel and may last from several days to over 30 days, depending on recovery needs. Shifts can extend up to 14 hours per day, 7 days a week. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Location: Winnsboro, LA and surrounding areas (Franklin Parish) Responsibilities: Report punctually to the assigned location and await instructions. Observe and monitor the loading of storm debris by trucks, bobcats, and front-end loaders. Ensure only eligible storm debris from public rights-of-way or designated property is collected. Confirm that all eligible debris is removed and that driveways and roadways are cleared before equipment moves to the next location. Accurately complete and submit Load Tickets and required documentation. Report any property damage caused by contractors during debris removal. Maintain a courteous, respectful, and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, contractors, officials, and team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance. Reliable personal vehicle. Ability to work long shifts (12–14 hours), including weekends. Physically able to climb ladders or stairs up to 10 feet and lift/carry at least 50 lbs. Possess a working cell phone with a car charger.
