WHC Energy Services

WHC Energy Services is seeking a qualified and safety-focused NCCCO Certified Crane Operator with current TLL (Telescopic Boom Crane – Swing Cab and Fixed Cab) and LBC (Lattice Boom Crawler Crane) certifications to support an upcoming facilities construction project. This position will play a critical role in safely executing crane operations while supporting project schedules and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

  • Operate telescopic boom and lattice boom crawler cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications and site requirements.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Perform daily inspections on rigging.
  • Participate in lift planning activities and pre-lift meetings.
  • Interpret load charts and ensure lifts are performed within crane capacity limitations.
  • Work closely with rigging crews, signal persons, and site supervision to safely execute lifts.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project safety requirements.
  • Identify and communicate potential safety concerns or operational issues.
  • Assist with crane assembly, disassembly, and mobilization activities as required.

Requirements

  • Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification with:
    • TLL (Telescopic Boom Crane)
    • LBC (Lattice Boom Crawler Crane)
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Strong understanding of load charts, rigging practices, and crane safety requirements.
  • Proven experience operating cranes on industrial, commercial, or facilities construction projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Current NCCCO Rigger and/or Signal Person certifications.
  • Experience working on large-scale facilities or industrial construction projects.
  • 5-years experience operating Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes.
  • Experience with critical lifts and engineered lift plans.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, bend, and perform physical activities associated with crane operations.
  • Ability to work extended hours as project schedules require.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
