Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com. ## The team you will be a part of As a Junior Graphic Designer at Whirlpool, you will help conceptualize and develop product graphics for a global, large-scale portfolio. You will assist with the creation of graphic systems and their application, working closely with UX, ID, and CMF designers, as well as being in close contact with the Engineering and Marketing areas. Intrinsically grounded in our brands’ strategy, you will also create and update Visual Brand Language Guidelines, create sub-brands’ logos and other branded graphic assets, and create final artwork for printing on a regular basis. ## This role in summary Design supports Whirlpool’s vision to "Be the best kitchen and laundry company, in constant pursuit of improving life at home, and in the world." In our global studios, we have more than 100 designers in dedicated teams of Graphic Design, Color Material and Finish, Craftsmanship, Industrial Design, Trends Forecasting, User Interaction, Motion Graphics, Usability, Design Research, and Studio Engineering. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Junior Graphic Designer opening in our Design Organization. ## Your responsibilities will include * Support the strategy and implementation of Visual Brand Language Graphics for multiple brands of home appliances; * Conceptualize and develop on-product graphic solutions in collaboration with UX (User Experience), ID (Industrial Design), and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) designers; * Generate precise, final production artwork for manufacturing; * Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing teams to ensure consistency and coherence across branded design elements, while addressing technical requirements and market positioning; * Contribute to the development and maintenance of Visual Brand Language Guidelines to ensure portfolio consistency; * Leverage industry trends and best practices in graphic design to continuously evolve and modernize our brand standards; * Present your work in design reviews to gather feedback and secure approvals; * Promote Whirlpool's core values of respect, integrity, diversity, and teamwork. ## Minimum requirements * Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Interaction Design, or a related field; * 2 to 5 years of experience in Graphic Design or related fields; * Compelling portfolio demonstrating creativity; * Advanced English; * High level of proficiency using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma. ## Preferred skills and experiences * Strong typographic and layout skills; * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly; * Physical UX awareness, understanding how on-product graphics guide the user in safely and intuitively interacting with the product; * Strong storytelling and visual communication skills; * 3D modeling and KeyShot experience. ## What we offer * Wedding bonus; * Subsidy at accredited pharmacies for the purchase of prescribed medications; * Discount on products through Compra Certa; * Whellhub; * Employee Support Program, providing 24-hour assistance with legal, social, financial, social workers, and psychologists; * Daycare assistance or Nursery at the company for female employees; * Benefits such as consigned or social loans, health plan, dental plan, life insurance, and private pension plans competitive with the market; * Services available on-site: cafeteria, internal bank branch, and lactation room; * Transportation voucher, Shuttle buses or Free parking at the company; * Meals on-site; * After 5 years with the company, eligible employees can take four weeks of paid leave; * Extended maternity/paternity leave. * Learn more at https://www.whirlpoolcareers.com/trabalhe-conosco-no-brasil/ ## Additional information This position is located at Joinville, the largest city in Santa Catarina state and an important industrial, financial and commercial center of the south region of Brazil.
