More information is available at www.india.whirlpool.in ## The team you will be a part of The Software Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development/troubleshooting or debugging of moderately complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Performs high-level design/modeling to convert stakeholder needs into software solutions. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Develops the architectural guidelines, specifications, and technical standards and communicates to stakeholders. ## This role in summary In this position you will be a partner with the SES Full stack software development team to deliver "Product" Leadership, with the best in class SW for Whirlpool consumers, ensuring flawless delivery of software (SW) which are verified and validated, that may be leveraged across multiple regions and project execution. ## Your responsibilities will include * 1 - 2 + years of experience in Embedded Software and system development for consumer appliance, Automotive, medical or industrial industries, * Knowledge of Embedded C, C++ is mandatory, Good to have knowledge of Java and / or Android development. Cloud, IoT infrastructure and mobile app development. * Experience with different test automation frameworks (not mandatory) * Experience with SCRUM or Agile development concepts. * Experience with software testing, debugging and project repository tools such as Selenium, Appium, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Rational * Ability to debug complex issues, read and interpret logs. * Understanding of Gen AI concepts and using it for day to day software development purpose * Basic understanding of SW tooling and Test architecture. * Basic understanding of Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) principles * Solid written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to understand various types of tests such as - component level, interface, integration, regression, System level, subsystem level, white box, black box. * Basic understanding of software security vulnerabilities for embedded software ## Minimum requirements m Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or Information Technology * Experience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) in embedded software development , Zephyr OS, test automation scripts development, etc * Experience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) with GenAI based tooling * Experience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) with Microcontrollers, high end processors for graphical displays, Test automation scripts, Bluetooth * Experience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) with hardware programming and debugging tools ## Preferred skills and experiences [ACTION REQUIRED - DO NOT POST AS IS]Describe the desirable background and experiences which will be a plus if the candidate possesses them.
